Take a journey to the Zaragoza countryside on this full-day wine tasting and cultural tour, with lunch included. Discover the stunning terroir of Cariñena, a Spanish Denomination of Origin (DO) and one of the oldest protected growing areas in Europe.

During this full-day journey I will take you to a traditional olive orchard to learn about olive oil production. I’ll also take you to the historic village of Belchite. Join me on an exciting escape to the Zaragoza countryside! First, I will take you to one of my favorite traditional olive orchards where you will meet the producer and learn about the history of olive oil production in Spain.

This cultural and culinary experience in Zaragoza is all about the influenced by its northern and eastern Mediterranean neighbors. The gastronomy of Zaragoza also has abundant orchards in the Ebro basin, so its excellent fruits and vegetables are present in many of its dishes. I’ll take you to the local market to learn about the most important local ingredients. We will also visit some of my favourite local spots and share some delicious Aragonese-style tapas.

During this 4-hour culinary experience I’ll take you on a tour of my favorite food market in Zaragoza and then teach you how to prepare some delicious Spanish dishes that we will enjoy together for lunch. Come along as we explore the Central Zaragoza food market, meeting local vendors and shopping for fresh ingredients for our Spanish cooking class.
