Expertly Designed by

Jorge, CEO and local guide of Rutica 41

Jorge designs and hosts private journeys for those who value culture, gastronomy, and the pleasure of truly understanding the places they visit—away from the rush and mass tourism. After years of living in and traversing Aragón, he shares the destination with a calm pace, deep context, and authentic passion, tailoring every trip to the rhythm and interests of each traveler.

Marta, local guide of Rutica 41

Marta has spent nearly a decade dedicated to promoting the monuments and landscapes of Northern Spain for both local and international visitors. Her routes blend tradition, history, local lore, and gastronomy into a journey tailored to the needs and tastes of every adventurer who dares to discover the hidden corners of Aragón.

From the Imperial Court to the Modernist Dream: Madrid, Zaragoza, and Barcelona

This itinerary has been designed for those who believe the journey is as important as the destination. We begin in Madrid, immersing ourselves in the splendor of the Hapsburgs and the Royal Palace, where court legends come to life through private tours designed to avoid crowds and connect with the soul of the capital.

From Madrid, high-speed rail will whisk us to Zaragoza, the great surprise of the trip. Here, the pace slows down to discover a city on a human scale. Led by local specialists, we will explore 2,000 years of history through its monuments and gastronomy, while also diving into the world of “green gold” (olive oil) and the exceptional wines of the Cariñena D.O., all while enjoying the comfort of private transfers that handle every detail.

The journey culminates in Barcelona, where the Mediterranean and Modernism merge. From the Gothic Quarter to the majesty of the Sagrada Familia, the logistics are designed so you only have to worry about enjoyment. It is a route balanced between cultural learning and personal moments of disconnection by the sea or in medieval alleys.

Our selection of boutique accommodations at each stop ensures that rest is part of the experience. This is not just a tour of monuments, but an immersion into the Spanish lifestyle, where market gastronomy and sunsets from private terraces set the rhythm for six unforgettable days.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1
Madrid

The journey begins in the Capital of the Kingdom, blending Hapsburg elegance with modern dynamism. A private tour to discover the essentials: from medieval origins to imperial splendor. Walk through the Madrid de los Austrias to learn about the architecture, anecdotes, and culture of the old quarter.

Combine this with a gastronomic tour through the city’s markets to taste local cuisine with an expert guide.

Day 2
Madrid

Time to dive deeper into the heritage. Discover the Royal Palace of Madrid, one of the world’s most imposing official residences, on a private tour with an expert.

If you crave more, the Prado Museum awaits—one of the world’s premier art galleries. See Las Meninas or The Garden of Earthly Delights in person on a private tour designed just for you. No lines, no waiting.

Day 3
Zaragoza

Zaragoza is the “unknown jewel” of this route. Through its monuments, food, and people, the capital of the Ebro will show you a friendly, unhurried side, far from the frantic pace of Madrid.

What better way to know it than with a personalized private tapas and wine tour? A local guide will show you how gastronomy is deeply linked to the various cultures that have inhabited this city.

Day 4
Belchite and Cariñena

Can you visit Spain without tasting two of its star products? Head to the countryside to immerse yourself in the landscape of olive groves and centennial vines of Belchite and the Cariñena D.O.

You will visit an oil mill to taste the extra virgin olive oil produced in Aragon—you’ll understand why it’s called “green gold.”

Then, enjoy a tasting at a Cariñena winery (the oldest in Aragon and second oldest in Spain) featuring Garnacha and other local varieties. Private transport from your accommodation is included.

Day 5
Barcelona

The Mediterranean light welcomes you to Barcelona. Alongside a private guide, discover the contrasts of the Ciudad Condal: from the panoramic views of Montjuïc to the historic labyrinth of the Gothic Quarter.

Experience Gaudí’s genius with Fast-track access to the Sagrada Familia and admire the dreamlike facade of Casa Batlló. The day ends with exclusive recommendations for that secret sunset spot by the sea.

Day 6
Barcelona

The day is yours. Barcelona is for you to enjoy your way.

From eclectic shops, bars, and restaurants to world-class museums and galleries, you will never find a dull moment in one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. Or perhaps you would fancy a cooking class, a flamenco show, or a sunset boat cruise…

Day 7
Barcelona

Departure day.

Time to return home with a suitcase full of new belongings (and probably not just memories).

Your private transport will be waiting right at the door of your accommodation to take you to the airport or train station, so you don’t have to worry about a thing and can say goodbye to the city in total comfort.
